Liberty Friesians' goal is to breed horses that are of a sound mind and a sound body. We work hard to keep our breeding program the most excellent program it can be. The mares we service, whether Friesians or not, are screened prior to breeding, our colts are imprinted at birth and all receive regular visits from the vet and farrier. Customers have told us that our horses are more like a member of the family because of their easy going manner and ability to remain calm in all situations.

Once you have discovered the Friesian or Friesian cross horse your focus may veer from other breeds. If you don't have a lot of experience with horses a Friesian is a great beginning horse because they are so sweet and easy going.
